Channel icon
A circular image that is similar to a profile photo, the recommended size is 800 x 800 px. For business / company account, it is important to use your logo for the channel icon. For personal account, you may use the same image as with your profile picture or any image that you think is relavant to your Youtube channel.
Channel art (for desktop, tablet and desktop / mobile displays)
This image is similar to a header or cover image where you can customise it to highlight your brand or the overall look of your Youtube channel. Since Youtube is available on variety of devices either on computers or mobile devices, the image will look different depending on the device that you use to access the Youtube channel. The recommended size is 2560 x 1440 pixels image. Minimum dimensions are 2048 x 1152 pixels.
Video thumbnail
This thumbnail is a great way to get viewers to view your content. It works like a preview of your content and the objective of it to get more viwers to click on the content link when browsing through the platform. Youtube will provide 3 options to choose from once you have uploaded the video or you may use your own custom thumbnail if you prefer. The recommended size is 1280 x 720 pixels and maximum file size is up to 2MB.
